Job outputs and responsibilities:

  • Achieve sales targets for assigned areas.
  • Responsible for the accuracy of the Customer database.
  • Reviews area on a monthly basis developing an activity plan in line with activities as advised by Sales manager.
  • Initiates proposals for activity in line with identified opportunities.
  • New volume opportunities are identified and addressed appropriately (outlets and brands).
  • Management of the assigned territory through retail calling to pre agreed journey plan call schedule and designated standards.
  • Drive retail sales in the specified area through the implementation of VAPPS sales drivers (Visibility; Availability; Price; Promotion; Space).
  • Responsible for the management of the TBL/Customer relationship.
  • New volume opportunities are identified and addressed appropriately (Outlets and brands.
  • Undertake reporting as per standards for outlet data base, Journey plan, calls made, activities undertaken, asset management, competitor activity and response.
  • Monitor the recommended price of our product at sales outlets.
  • Ambassador for TBL with Consumers.
  • Management of Company Assets.

Job attributes and competencies:

  • Sound theoretical and practical knowledge of Sales in FMCG.
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft office applications.
  • Be dynamic and sociable.
  • Have easy contact and a sense of collaboration.
  • Be a team leader and be very predictable.
  • Good oral and writing skills.
  • Ability to maintain good relations with other departments within the company.
  • Ability to listen and set an example to others.
  • Master sales techniques and Ability to work under pressure.
  • React positively to constructive criticism.
  • Ability to comply with the instructions of his/her direct supervisor.
  • Sharing risks for security measures linked to logistics.
  • Responsible for entrusted working tools (vehicles, calculators, staplers etc.).
  • Must do his/her utmost to achieve the objectives that will be fixed.
  • Must be punctual, self-confident, self-disciplined
  • Negotiation skills.

Job Qualification and Experiences: 

  • Minimum Diploma or Degree.
  • Minimum of (2) years Sales experience in FMCG Industry.
  • Driving License -at least 1 year driving experience.
