China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation (CCECC) is the main contractor for the standard gauge railway project (SGR) Tabora-Kigoma lot 6. CCECC is seeking to recruit suitably qualified and experienced, highly motivated candidates to fill the positions below:
Job Title: Procurement Officer
The procurement process will have the following main duties:
1. Communication with all parties involved; procuring all kinds of materials and equipment needed for the SGR6 project.
2. Skilled drafting for tender documents, contracts, and other related documents
3. Work on the bidding process and related matters. Make procurement and other related reports
4. Complete other matters assigned by the leader.
Minimum qualifications and experience
1. Language ability: English, oral fluency, and skill in writing.
2. Age: above 25
3. Gender: Both male and female
4. Academic requirements: a bachelor’s degree at least, major in procurement and supply, civil engineering, engineering management, cost management (QS), and other related
5. Work experience: above 5 years

Other requirements:
- Experience in procuring for construction projects. (Not a must.)
- Better have experience in construction site work and project management.
- With experience on international contracts, such as FIDIC.
- Certification as a quantity surveyor is better. (Not a must.)
- Team player and good communicator.
