Comprehensive Community Based Rehabilitation in Tanzania (CCBRT) aims to be the leading provider of accessible specialized health services in Africa and serves as healthcare social enterprise and through development programmes in the community and the most vulnerable. Committed to preventing lifelong disabilities wherever possible, CCBRT is also engaged in extensive maternal and newborn healthcare (MNHC) activities including obstetric fistula repairs. Its recently opened Maternity and Newborn Wing serves as a referral centre for high risk and emergency deliveries in the region of Dar es Salaam and the Eastern Zone of Tanzania.

We are looking for an dynamic Senior Marketing and Customer Officer to join our team

The role

As Senior Marketing & Customer Care Officer, you assist in the implementation of CCBRT’s marketing strategy to strengthen the position of CCBRT products and services favorably in the African healthcare market through expanding brand awareness and patient recruitment. Together with the Head of Marketing & Customer Care you take care of the overall brand management and corporate identity and ensure consistency and alignment in all marketing activities across the organization.

You develop and initiate new marketing campaigns and initiatives using a wide range of different (Innovative) marketing tools and channels with clearly defined objectives for growth, retention and value delivered within agreed budgets and aligned to the overarching brand strategy and business objectives. You liaise with departments to obtain and produce information and materials. You will assist in market analysis and surveys to identify needs of clients and opportunities for business growth. You further assist in customer care services across the organization and help to analyse feedback and digital channels.

Your profile

You are a holder of a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business / Commercial studies or related studies with minimal 5 years of experience in a customer relations/marketing role in the corporate sector or service industry. Experience in the health sector will be an added advantage.
You have a proven track record of developing and executing successful digital marketing campaigns, managing budget and ROI for digital marketing programs
You have a proven ability to write and edit effective content for different audiences and different channels. You fluently communicate in both English and Swahili.
You have excellent interpersonal and networking skills (incl. social media)
You are confident, dynamic and a self-motivated personality, who is a proven team player and motivator for colleagues through good organizational, planning and project management skills
You have good creative skills and mind (out-of-the-box-thinking) but know to prioritize
